The author analyzes, from metrological point of view the weight-standards used to strike three of the main types issued by the Histrian mint during the autonomous period:
- With the head of Apollo
- With "River-God" head (Istrus)
- With the head of Demeter.
The three monetary types are known in various "denominations" and weight-standards
Based on the metrological and stylistical analyses made on several coins, the author proposes a new classification and chronological scheme.
